There is no longer a statewide mask mandate, aligning Maryland with new CDC guidance, which allows FULLY vaccinated individuals to resume normal (pre-COVID pandemic) activities. This includes mask wearing. However, mask wearing is still required in heath care settings. Additionally, private businesses are able to determine their own mask policies.
As a private speech-language therapy center, Budding Voices is technically both a health care setting and a private business.
In order to continue protecting all members of the Budding Voices family, we will continue to require all UNVACCINATED adults and non-patient children (such as siblings) over the age of 4 years to wear a mask while in the center.
Given the recent surge in new cases and identification of new variants, we ask that you kindly help us protect the entire Budding Voices family.
Children being seen at Budding Voices will not be required to wear a mask during sessions. However, we respect your family's preferences. Should you prefer, your child may wear a mask while at Budding Voices. Additionally, our staff is happy to wear a mask and/or face shield during sessions.
All staff, patients, and families of Budding Voices are expected to take all reasonable precautions to keep themselves and the community safe and healthy.
All staff, patients, and families agree to alert a Budding Voices administrator immediately and not enter the office for any reason in the event that myself or anyone within my household is experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19, including but not limited to:
